Every one of the last sixteen years the principal goal of the ARTWALK board of directors has been to host Alpine’s most prestigious event. In order to accomplish this goal every year the board is tasked with drawing record crowds, increasing gallery and retail participation, raising more money, filling more hotel beds, and ensuring that Alpine’s most successful event lives on. Every year the board meets and exceeds these goals and ARTWALK grows every year. But the board is only able to accomplish these things because of the support received from the community and businesses. The planning of the 17^th annual ARTWALK has begun. Once again it is time for us to ask you for your support. Together we can make 2010 our best year ever.

Thus far we are planning to introduce the Art Attack Children’s Area, reintroduce the popular Art Car Parade, amp up the music, improve the venues, increase advertising, and expand coverage to draw bigger crowds. Numerous sponsor levels are available with varying advantages for each. We are looking ever forward for the monies and ideas to continue to make ARTWALK the pride of the Big Bend.
